Phoebe is in her fourth tax season at the Owlview office and is now studying to prepare tax returns.  She said she has "a great boss and workmates" and that what appeals to her most about working with Accutax "is how clients have different personalities and circumstances."

She and her husband of 18 years were living in Quebec when, following three years of paperwork, they came to the States to take care of Phoebe's aging parents.  The Bandis have a 17-year-old son and they enjoy skiing and kayaking as a family.

Phoebe volunteers 800 hours a year to studying the Bible with her neighbors and especially enjoys reading to the elderly.  "I love their enthusiasm for learning, even as older ones," she said.  She has also learned mason tending for volunteer building projects around New York State.
