Susan Campbell, tax preparer
Tax preparation is a third career for Susan Campbell. She has a psychology degree from Coe College and has used her interest in behavioral science and her English minor to market financial services at such firms as Fidelity Investments and Ivy Funds. Susan worked as a freelance copywriter for many years in the Boston area and relocated to the Capital District in 2003, where she studied to do other people's taxes to supplement her freelancing, she said.
Susan has worked at Accutax since the 2006 tax season. Her weekly volunteer work includes reading to the blind and elderly.
